She is completed but I will wait a while to post her finished pictures, she is a gift and web is small.
I don't want to ruin the surprise :)
To make her lighter, I cut her head and attached a styrofoam ball. Sculpted ears and kind-of neck.
Workplace is getting messier and mesier :P
Blushed and painted. Well, I adjusted the make-up afterwards but those pictures will come later.
Looks weird without hair, eyelashes and such but I love her freckles :)
SilI wanted to know how to resist the Styrofoam ball in the oven. Kisses!
YanıtlaSilWell, you can't, it shrinks in the oven, not to mention awful fumes. That's why I glued the styrofoam ball "after" baking the face in the oven ^.^
Silhi! i would like to learn where did you buy eyes for doll? İ live in İstanbul. İ will be very thank you if you say me address of some shops in İstanbul or internet shops links.
YanıtlaSilHi Pavlina! So good to see someone in Istanbul is into dolls :) I make my own eyes out of clay and resin. I could not find anywhere to buy doll eyes or specific doll supplies in Istanbul but there are some hobby shops where you can get clay, paints and such. For the rest, I usually shop online from USA. I also sell some extra doll stuff I have, so you can ask me if you are looking for something specific and can't find here :)
SilAs for local shops, I usually shop from Tahtakale, they have an online shop and stores at Eminonu & Umraniye as well. Here's the link: http://www.tahtakalehobi.com/
I sometimes buy from here, they seem to have best price on Cernit: http://www.uskudarsanat.com/index.php
It's a little pricey compared to others, but they have a hobby -plus another model/hobby store where you can find things for lanscapes etc.- at Kadıkoy: http://www.guvensanat.com/
Also, Eminonu is a great place for everything else, you can find wire, clothes, flowers etc etc for your dolls. Well, you can find almost anything there:)
I hope these help, if you need any further help, you can email me kilpidesign@gmail.com
Good luck ^.^
